I was a two times dropper and I prepared for the medical entrances without any coaching. So, from the experience I gained during my preparation years, I can say that if you read/solve the following books sincerely, you can surely crack NEET with good rank.

For Biology:

  • NCERT
  • Questions and Summary from mtG NCERT at your fingertips
  • mtG chapterwise solutions of previous year questions of NEET, AIIMS and JIPMER
  • Important highlighted points and questions from ALLEN or Aakash modules.

Note: Please don't read from Truman's, Pradeep or Dinesh. It's of no use. Save time for Physics and Chemistry.

For Chemistry: I will not segregate it into physical, organic and inorganic as according to me the following books hold good for all of them:

  • NCERT
  • For referenceOP Tandon. Please don't try to read everything from it. Use it for reference only.
  • Coaching modules ( preferably of ALLEN or Aakash) for studying as well as for solving questions.
  • Other books for solving questions:
    • mtG NCERT at your fingertips.
    • mtG chapterwise solutions of previous year questions of NEET, AIIMS and JIPMER.
  • For summary:
    • mtG NCERT at your fingertips
    • mtG Rapid chemistry
    • ALLEN handbook (if you have it)

For Physics:

  • NCERT (do at least one reading). Do points to ponder and summarymultiple times.
  • Questions and summary from mtG NCERT at your fingertips.
  • Theory from DC Pandey for medical entrances or from HC Verma as per your choice.
  • Other books to solve questions are almost same as of other subjects. Plus these books:
    • D.C. Pandey for medical entrances.
    • USS Errorless Physicsnot everything but only the Critical Thinkingquestions.
    • For previous year questions refer mtG books as mentioned before.
    • For summary: same as mentioned for chemistry(Only the physics versions of those books).

Apart from these books, solve NCERT exemplar MCQ questions for all the subjects. Some direct questions can come from them in the main exam. Exemplar questions are given in mtG NCERT at your fingertips. So, you need not buy any additional book for them.
